The song is in 3/4 time. There's a lot of syncopation going on with the snare and kick. It's a bit like a straight shuffle with accents on the upbeat. Main beat is as follows- Kick= x.xx.x..x.x. snare= .*.*.*X*.*.* (with the last ghost note being a rolled double). Hi-hat = _.-._.-._.-.

Not even close to perfect, but you get the idea. Ive never seen this band live but I assume this is accurate, or similar at least.

This was during their first US tour. My band Krowfly opened for them that night and let me just say, they blew everyone's minds that night and have continued to do so all over the state's ever since!!! What a great band and super cool guys!

That is most definitely the original as well as current drummer for Avatar. This was filmed during their first US tour and no members have been replaced.

You may be right haha. Its hard to tell with the headphones cranked. Better to play along with a nice loud stereo, if you want to hear everything... But it tends to bother others within earshot while you practice, so.

Thank You Sir! It's tough to tell what is me and what is the actual drumtrack during that part... it all gets mushy because I really didn't mix my drumtrack very loud against the song. I appreciate the compliment! This was recorded/filmed during a very stressful time in my life, and I was undergoing physical therapy, so I was not really in peak physical form. Happy with the mediocre results here though!!! Thanks again! Subscribe if you like as I will be releasing more vids in the future.

Thanks. Was all for fun. No real practice takes... just let the camera run. Mistakes and all. This is one of my favorite songs by 7D... It's not something I've spent a lot of time learning, I just sat down and slammed through it for the heck of it, glad you like.
